Flexilink Councils Flexilink services operate similar to a bus as they follow a designated route, however passengers must book a seat prior to travel and a taxi is used instead of a bus. The cost to the passenger is $2 for Adults and $1 for Child or Concession per journey. The Flexilink service is a trial one which will be reviewed throughout the trial to determine continuation. How does it work? The Flexilink services use clearly marked taxis that operate on a pre-booked basis, running three return scheduled trips a day, six days a week. How do I book a Flexilink service? You must book your seat two hours before departure by phoning 1300 511 163. If there are no bookings the vehicle will not be dispatched. There are no designated stops along the route. When booking, the operator will advise you when and where along the route they can pick you up. If you require assistance or a wheelchair accessible vehicle, please advise the operator at time of booking. The Flexilink services are being funded by Sunshine Coast Council and your Public Transport Levy with support from Queensland Transport.
