Sharing Paths Safely

Noosa is a community where walking and cycling are encouraged.  The Shire has an extensive pathways and off road trail network which is expanding.  Cyclists share paths with pedestrians, people in wheelchairs, skateboarders to name a few.  Know your rights and obligations but be aware that Pedestrians have the right of way on shared pathways.

So when riding, be aware of what is happening around you.  Watch out for others and always excercise due care and attention.

In Noosa cyclists can ride on any footpath except in certain commercial and retail centres.  The following tips should help you share our paths safely.
