Unfortunately cyclists are particularly susceptible to punctures as a result of debris such as glass and gravel being swept by motor vehicles into the left hand shoulders of traffic lanes.
Your help in identifying problem areas is appreciated. Unfortunately it is not possible to keep 100% on top of debris within bicycle lanes and additional clean-up is required between sweeping schedules. To report glass in the bicycle lanes please contact the Council Customer Service Centre on 5475 7272. Council will endeavour to have the debris removed in a timely manner.
